NeuroNest is a neurodiversity-affirming art studio where people of ALL ages, backgrounds, and access needs can explore creativity on their own terms. Whether you thrive in quiet individual sessions, group workshops, or large community projects, we meet you where you are—with flexibility for sensory needs, communication needs, and movement breaks.
We welcome anyone to create with us, especially those who feel anxious, overstimulated, or who benefit from extra support in traditional art settings. We have experience working with people with neurodevelopmental and multiple disabilities, and we encourage you to center subjects you already love—like special interests, shows, characters, or topics—to deepen creative joy and expression.

Adaptive sessions designed with sensory sensitivities and accessibility in mind. Materials, environment, and pacing are tailored to each person.
We understand the importance of access and may be able to collaborate with independent living centers, or meet you at a space that feels familiar to you in our service areas in the DMV, or provide services remotely.
Creation built around what you love— Animals, favorite characters, or themes you care about. A great way to tap into motivation, joy, and connection through the creative process.
Workshops for parties, celebrations, programming, or special events. Projects are tailored to the theme, energy level, age, and needs of the group.
Personalized, individual sessions for kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Paced to each learner’s needs, with flexibility for sensory sensitivities, non-verbal communication, and movement breaks.
Creative sessions can be offered in familiar environments like your home, classroom, local community center, or learning pod— helpful for kids with difficulty with transitions.
Art-based learning designed around your family’s goals and pace. Small, relaxed, inclusive art-making for 1–6 participants. Or Larger groups of 6+ participants! Great for siblings, homeschoolers (or pods), their families, and those who want to create together in an affirming, non-competitive space.

Art sessions brought into school settings for students needing alternative ways to express and engage-especially those with IEPs, 504 plans, or accessibility needs.
Interested in art school or creative programs? We work with folks on portfolio development and have experience exploring what self-advocacy looks like for ND individuals in higher education.
We collaborate with schools and nonprofits
Co-creating murals that reflect shared stories and community values. We are also exploring creative performance for transitional youth programs! These projects are inclusive, process-driven, and thoughtfully designed to engage participants of all ages and abilities, whether in a residency, contract role, or partnership.
